AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2018-03 ESTABLISHING THE DUE DATE FOR WATER/SEWER SERVICE BILLING, SETTING THE DISCONNECT DATE FOR PAST DUE BILLS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, Ordinance NO. 2018-03 amended the due date for water/sewer services billing from the (10th) tenth day of the month to the (15th) fifteenth day of the month after which a penalty of (10%) ten percent shall be added; and

WHEREAS, a date specific for disconnect for water/sewer services is not stated within the language of the ordinance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS:

That Section 8. A of ordinance 2018-03 is amended to read as follows:

That all bills for water/sewer services are payable the (1st) first day to the (15th) fifteenth day of each month and after the (15th) fifteenth day of each month a penalty of (10%) ten percent shall be added to all past due bills. Disconnect for non-payment of past due water/sewer bills shall be done on the (26th) day of each month or if a weekend, the next business day.

REPEAL CLAUSE:  Any ordinance or parts of any ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
