ORDINANCE 2019-03

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE 2001-05 AMENDING A TOTAL USER CHARGE FEE PER 1,000 GALLONS.

WHEREAS, it is necessary that for the efficient operation of the City of Gassville sewer system that rates for services rendered be checked periodically and;

WHEREAS, a review of the City of Gassville sewer system user rates was completed by the Arkansas Rural Water Association and;

WHEREAS, the current rates for the City of Gassville sewer system for services rendered was determined to not be sufficient for the overall operation of the system.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS:

That Section 7 of Ordinance 2001-05, is amended to read as follows:

SECTION 7: That the following rates that the City Council hereby finds and declares are fair, reasonable, and necessary minimum rates to be charged for sewer services rendered by the City of Gassville sewer system:

Total User Charge- per 1,000 gallons:
Minimum bill per user= OM&R for 1,000 gal.= Debt Service= Depreciation Reserves
$6.50= $5.40 $0.76 $0.34

Per 1,000 gallons beyond first 1,000= OM&R for 1,000 gal. Debt Service
Depreciation Reserves.
$6.50= $5.40 $0.76 $0.34
