ORDINANCE 2016-01

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2003-04 PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION OF PROPERTY, RESIDENCY, AND /OR CUSTODIAN OF DOGS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS. 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS: 

SECTION 1: Section 2 Paragraph 1 of Ordinance 2003-04 is hereby deleted in full and replaced with the following: 

SECTION 2: Running at large.    

1. The owner and/or custodian shall keep his/her animal under restraint at all times and shall not permit such animal to be at large. Furthermore, the owner and/or renter or occupant of any residence keeping a dog within the corporate City limits of Gassville, Arkansas shall keep his/her animal from barking or making noise in such a matter that would constitute a nuisance.

SECTION 2: All other provisions of Ordinance 97-05 are incorporated herein and are to remain in full force and effect.
