ORDINANCE 2024-08
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2020-03, PROVIDING FOR APPROVAL BY ORDINANCE OF THE 2021 ARKANSAS FIRE CODE SECTION 319 FOR INSPECTIONS OF MOBILE FOOD PREPARATION VEHICLES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Section 319 of the 2021 Arkansas Fire Code (Mobile Food Preparation Vehicles) grants inspection authority of said vehicles for fire protection purposes; and
WHEREAS, Section 319 of the 2021 Arkansas Fire Code is left for the governing body of the municipality to adopt.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 Licensing Requirements/Inspections (A.#3.) of Ordinance 2020-03 is stricken and amended to state as follows:
3. Fire inspections and enforcement shall be completed by the Fire Chief under authority of the Arkansas Fire Code of 2021 (Section 319) for mobile food preparation vehicles.
SECTION 2. That Section 6 (C.) Exemptions of Ordinance NO. 2020-03 is stricken.
