AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING RECONNECT FEES FOR THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS WATER SYSTEM AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS. 

WATER RECONNECT FEE: The fee for turning on of water after it is turned off because of failure to pay the amount owed to the City of Gassville Water Department will be $50.00 (fifty-dollars). 

TAMPERING/LOCK DAMAGE: Any customer of the City of Gassville water system who has been turned off and is found to have tampered with a meter or broken a lock shall pay the cost of replacement value for the damages incurred including materials, equipment and labor. 

DISCONNECT/ SHUTOFF: Any customer of the City of Gassville water system who has been disconnected for failure to pay bill for a period of 60 (sixty) days shall forfeit their deposit. 

REPEAL: Any ordinance or parts thereof in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

EMERGENCY: In order to keep up with the current expenses (fuel, labor) for reconnecting service an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
