ORDINANCE 2023-03

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2017-04 ESTABLISHING WATER AND SEWER CONNECTING FEES IN THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 

WHEREAS, it has been determined that ordinance 2017-04 needs to be amended to reflect what the actual cost is to the City of Gassville for water and sewer connections. 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS: 

That Ordinance 2017-04 Section 2. A, B, C, and D and Section 3. Bare hereby amended to reflect the following fee changes: 

SECTION 2. WATER CONNECTION FEES: the following fees shall apply to water connections.
     A. The fee shall be $1,200.00 (one-thousand two-hundred dollars).
     B. The fee shall be $900.00 (nine-hundred dollars).
     C. 1" (one inch) meters and larger: All meters of 1" (one inch) or larger shall be connected at a rate equal to the cost to the City of Gassville for labor, materials and equipment.
     D. All water meter connections shall be done by the City of Gassville Water Department.

SECTION 3. ROAD BORE/ROCK OCCURRENCES:
      B. The fee charged shall be $35.00 (thirty-five dollars) per foot.

REPEAL: that Section 2.(E) is hereby repealed from Ordinance 2017-04. All other sections of Ordinance 2017-04 and parts thereof are to remain in full force and effect.
