Announcing Parade Grand Marshall

The Gassville in the Park Committee takes great pleasure in announcing the 2024 Parade Grand Marshall as Bill Johnson.

 Bill, a native of the area, has lived in Gassville 52 years.  Bill was a firefighter with the Gassville Fire Department for over 30 years. Bill served the citizens of Gassville as their first full-time Fire Chief, a position he held for 17 years. Bill was also active with the Gassville Fire Department Auxiliary for several years.

Bill and his wife Christine have two lovely daughters Amanda and Sarah; attend Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church in Monkeyrun. Those who know Bill say he has never met a stranger and is always willing to help anyone.
