PROCLAMATION DECLARING RESULTS OF SPECIAL ELECTION

 

                        I, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Gassville, Arkansas (the "City"), do hereby Proclaim that at the special election held March 5, 2024 in the City, after examining the election returns and the Certificate of the Baxter County Board of Election Commissioners certi­fying the vote FOR and AGAINST the measure described below, the results were as follows:

 

0.5% SALES AND USE TAX

 

                        Adoption of a new 0.5% local sales and use tax within the City of Gassville, the net collections of which remaining after deduction of the administrative charges of the State of Arkansas and required rebates will be used for water and sewer purposes.

                        All persons are hereby notified that the results of the election shall be conclusive unless attacked in the Circuit Court of Baxter County, Arkansas within thirty (30) days after the publication hereof.
