ORDINANCE 2019-04 & ATTACHMENT A

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2014-02 ESTABLISHING THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM SALARIES PER POSITION IN THE CITY OF GASSVILLE. 

WHEREAS, The State of Arkansas has approved a new minimum wage amount that will be incremented to a final amount of $11.00 per hour; and 

WHEREAS, The City of Gassville established by Ordinance 2014-02 that a minimum starting wage was to be set at $10.00 per hour; and 

WHEREAS, There is a need to provide new minimum/maximum salary guidelines due to the change in minimum wage. 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GASSVILLE, ARKANSAS: 

SECTION 1. That Ordinance 2014-02 is hereby amended to include the new minimum/maximum salaries set in the attached hereto "Attachment A" of this ordinance. 

SECTION 2. That all other sections and parts of Ordinance 2014-02 are to remain in full force and effect.
